In a big stride towards shaping the future of wealth management, The Inside Network has forged a strategic partnership with Future Proof, the world’s largest wealth management festival.

With a shared commitment to learning, innovation and professional development, this collaboration will see 50 financial advisers and their staff travel to California to hear from local advisers, entrepreneurs and some of the greatest minds in financial advice.

The largest wealth event in the world

Set aside sunny Huntington Beach, the Future Proof Festival will convene over 5,000 wealth experts, visionaries and innovators. This gathering serves as a beacon for the industry, a platform where knowledge is expanded, networks are forged and the path towards a future-proof wealth industry is charted.

  • Future Proof will be held over four days from September 15 to 18, and will take place as a 100 per cent outdoor event on an expansive boardwalk next to one of the world’s most iconic beach strips. Over 2,200 financial advisers and wealth management executives will attend, representing an estimated US$6 trillion in total AUM.

The Inside Network will be front and centre as the inaugural Australian partner, hosting a dedicated lounge for Australian financial advisers and their staff. The Australian Lounge will serve as a nexus for networking, knowledge exchange and content creation; in partnership with RASK Media, this lounge will host local advisers, tech entrepreneurs and global thought leaders, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of collaboration and innovation.

According to Jamie Nemtsas, director of leading advice group Wattle Partners and executive chair at The Inside Network, the partnership is a significant milestone for financial advice in Australia and presents the opportunity to forge deep ties with the US, which is home to the largest adviser base in the world.

“We believe that through continuous learning, knowledge expansion and networking in entrepreneurial ways, The Inside Network can contribute to taking financial advice from its cottage industry roots to a beacon of professionalism,” Nemtsas says.

    Forging deep connections

An integral part of The Inside Network’s partnership with Future Proof will be the extension of an open gateway for Australian financial advisers, providing them with an unprecedented opportunity to engage with global industry leaders and like-minded peers.

The Inside Network will serve as Future Proof’s Australian partner in 2024, cultivating a community of advisers and wealth experts committed to driving positive change.

This collaboration presents a rare opportunity for Australian advisers to immerse themselves in the US advice ecosystem, forging deep connections and gaining invaluable insights into the future of wealth management.

Financial advisers who wish to learn more about attending the event can reach out to the dedicated Future Proof team at The Inside Network.

Opportunity for fund managers and industry executives

Recognising the pivotal role of asset managers in an evolving industry landscape, The Inside Network extends a unique opportunity for Australian sales executives to join an extended component of the study tour at Future Proof.

With access to thousands of decision-makers in wealth management including CEOs, CTOs, COOs and top-ranked financial advisers, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the US advice ecosystem and learn from the brightest minds in the global wealth industry.

Nemtsas believes the collaboration provides a valuable opportunity for fund managers to connect with advisers and forge lasting relationship ties.

“We see fund managers and their investment teams as an integral part of this journey,” he says. “By bringing the providers and allocators of wealth together on the same journey, we’re hoping to foster trusting relationships that help everyone deliver great outcomes for clients.”
